Basics
NAME: Currently? Anasa Fox.
AGE/BIRTHDAY: 26. June 17.

BLOOD STATUS/RACE: Depends on who she's scamming talking to. She is familiar with muggle things such as guns, motorcycles, and muggle methods of breaking-and-entering. This could be the result of muggle heritage, or simply her dedication to all matters of tricks and thievery.

OCCUPATION: Curse breaker. Thief. Fence. Treasure hunter. er... 'Security consultant.'

About
Anasa is quick, adaptable, and opportunistic as hell. She's a master thief, treasure hunter, curse breaker, and fence – and she's very good at what she does. She plays musical chairs with aliases and personas, so it's difficult to determine which details of her past are fabricated and what remains true, and she heeds a moral code that is incredibly more warped 'flexible' than any normal convention. She doesn't adhere to same dictionary everyone else does, and therefore has a knack for breaking vows without ever really breaking her word was far as she's concerned.

Her moral code doesn't frown on using someone she genuinely cares for, nor on faking affection for those whom she couldn't care less, nor on being in the simultaneous employ of opposing factions. She genuinely considers herself a decent person, but she isn't naïve: she is well aware that most others would vehemently disagree. She just doesn't lose sleep over it: Anasa simply believes in going after what she wants and she does not let things like insecurities, legalities, or the fact that what she wants isn't hers get in the way. She is not a woman who plays fair, nor will she ever be.

Her acting and lying prowess come so easily that it's impossible for her to turn off – even when needed. Anasa couldn't be a hundred percent honest and straightforward to save neither her life nor anyone else's. If she isn't lying than she either isn't divulging the whole picture, or giving her stories a certain slant, or simply leaving enough flexibility in her truths for them to be misinterpreted. Her lying and misdirection is now habit, interfering in those moments when she truly wants to be honest or needs to be, and it takes significant concentration on her part to not be misleading.

Those who actually get to know Anasa, and not a mere persona, are faced with the constant frustration of knowing they aren't getting to know Anasa. The closer you gets, the more honest she is: in owning up to her dubious nature. She will admit that she lies, cheats, has indirect tendencies, and will likely do things you don't approve of behind your back without telling what they are or when she does them – but her admitting to her duplicity does not stop her from acting out on it. Nor does her genuine affection for another shield them from being a pawn.

If anything, those she does give a damn about probably have the most cause to be wary. If Anasa thinks someone she cares about needs something, she's going to do something about it whether they want her to or know. Half the time her manner of accomplishing that is objectionable and unasked for and her idea of what counts as 'help' can be whacked as all hell. At best she's giving soembody stolen jewelry for their birthday or sabotaging their opponent in what's supposed to be a friendly competition. At her worst she's dropping somebody in a life-threatening situation or getting them arresting because the she thinks they need to a 'grow' and get a new lease on life. She's the kind of person to cut the brake line in a car to scare you into some much-needed appreciation for life if she feels you need it. And, to her whacked little mind? That's being helpful.

Just for fun
FIVE THINGS:
Fun tid-bit: Anasa is actually a re-imaging of a character I applied for another game that went defunct before the app could be reviewed. She was a character I was SO EXCITED to play before, but never got the chance to... until now!

REASON 1 Interact with all the things~~!
Caradoc's hands are tied by the Order when they aren't being tied by the Ministry. I've also discovered that, being 37 and having already had and then lost a family, he isn't quite prone to engaging in and egging on the petty squabbles and banter (Gibbons he suspects as a Death Eater so that's different: that's just proper harassment, thank you very much.) Caradoc, I am sad to say, probably just is never going to get into any semi-heated discourse concerning pie. Or banter with known Death Eaters. Or get shit-faced when there are war plans to be had (a drink? yes. Shit-faced? That would be more difficult... though nothing is impossible, right?).

But enough about Caradoc. Anasa? Anasa don't give a shit. She personifies freedom and flexibility: she's all too happy to talk to whoever, stick her nose wherever just because the thought crossed her mind, and 'because she felt like it' is a good enough reason for her to do absolutely anything. She has no moral qualms about being the simultaneous employ of opposing factions -- hell, that's just more fun. No issue for her is too small to butt into nor too large to completely blow off, and she will talk to and do business with anybody. She's capricious, and not bound to any moral code outside what counts as her own, and I'm incredibly excited to play with that.

REASON 2 Rogue Element!
She’s the ultimate opportunist, and just because she doesn’t go into something planning on turning the tables is no guarantee that isn’t going to happen. Being her enemy doesn’t always mean she’ll work against you, but her actually caring about someone doesn’t shield them from being screwed over. Even in love Anasa comes off as a wayward variable: she may love the person and may even be willing to die for them, but she’s still going to take the money and run -- and possibly leave them with the blame.

REASON 3 To steal things!
She's a thief and a treasure hunter and a curse-breaker. And is very, very talented at what she does. She's perfect for when someone needs something 'acquired' from someplace most can't -- or won't -- break into. She's here to steal from you, steal for you, or simply get her hands on what you want before you can. Or she'll promise to do one of those things and simply ends up doing another. Most of the people she's worked with before know not to trust her, but her excellence in her field is why most of those can be persuaded to work with her again.

REASON 4 Thrill seeker!
Adventure and thrill are the name of the game for Anasa, and the ill-begotten money she's accrued from it is just gravy. She needs a bit of chaos and risk in her life to be truly happy and seems partly driven to impart that in others’ lives as well. It means that she's a character perfectly suited for being where she shouldn't, getting into trouble, and dragging others along with her! Do we need somebody to break into some ancient site, steal a cursed object, and stash it at some groups' headquarters for safe-keeping where it unleash all kinds of cursed-object-craziness? Well, let me offer her up!

REASON 5 Bad Idea Bear.
In a world where others are at least trying to keep clear heads and stay safe and plan carefully, Anasa readily and knowingly pushes for the recklessness and danger, and will often try to veer others down that path even if she has to outright lie about how safe it is. She doesn't so much 'plan' as fly by the seat of her pants and rely on her skills to get her out... but she doesn't see much fun in telling you that.
